Beltane: This was my final bead journal page, for May 08. It's bead embroidery worked on heavyweight interfacing then backed with leather. Aside from being a page in my beaded journal, all twelve of which are bound together with oversized binder rings, it's also an interchangeable flap for a little purse I made to show them off. This is Beltane, the May celebration of life bursting out with symbols that emblems of the spring festival.
